Introduction

I'm not sure if I am a good enough writer to express the quality and quantity of off road cycle riding in this area, suffice to say it is very high, just look in any MTB magazine. I've cycled there a few times, around Coed y Brenyn and  the Berwyn's. Below there's a couple of pictures from a Surrey Stackers ride in this area.

The photos below  took in a section of the Berwyn's. This is from before I had my GPS receiver so there's no grid references..

A few pictures

Here's a few pictures I've taken when I've cycled in mid Wales. Click on the image to see a larger version of it.

We had just started out on the ride, so we were all happy campers at this point in time Just starting to really climb now, we are really beginning to go up
And here's one of the chaps from Surrey Stackers going through a stream And now we are off the bikes and walking...
Up near to the top there's a fairly steep cliff face.. End of the ride, the pub was a welcome site, and also this waterfall
